1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AceMatric website, resources, and services. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be a matric student in South Africa to use AceMatric. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorised use.

3. Use of AceMatric

You agree not to misuse the Service or attempt to interfere with its normal operation. You agree not to upload or distribute unlawful, infringing, or harmful content through our community or chatbot features.

4. Intellectual Property

All AceMatric branding, UI design, and original study materials are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

5. Resources & Past Papers

Past papers are provided for educational purposes. Copyright remains with the respective rights holders (e.g. Department of Education). If you are a rights holder seeking removal, please contact our team immediately.

6. AI Tools & Guidance

Our AI features provide study assistance and may occasionally produce inaccuracies. Always verify important information against your official CAPS syllabus and teacher guidance. You remain responsible for your own academic work.

7. Marketing & Consent

By using AceMatric, you agree to receive service, transactional, and marketing communications (Email, WhatsApp/SMS). You can opt out of marketing at any time via "Unsubscribe" or replying "STOP" to messages.

8. Privacy & POPIA

We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We use reasonable safeguards and only share data with trusted processors necessary to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

AceMatric is provided “as is”. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data and opportunities resulting from the use of our study tools.
