These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of
the AceMatric website, resources, and services (collectively, the
“Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound
by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be a matric student in South Africa to use AceMatric. If
you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the
confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your
account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us
of any unauthorised use.
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to interfere with its
normal operation, or access it using a method other than the
interface and instructions we provide. You agree not to upload or
distribute unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
All AceMatric branding, UI, and original materials are owned by or
licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You
may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except
as permitted by law or by written permission.
Past papers and study resources are provided for educational
purposes. Copyright remains with the respective rights holders (e.g.
exam bodies, publishers). If you are a rights holder and believe
material should be removed, please contact us (see “Contact Us”).
Our AI features provide study assistance only and may occasionally
produce inaccuracies. Always verify important information against
your syllabus, teacher guidance, and official materials. You remain
responsible for your academic work and compliance with your school’s
policies.
By accessing or using AceMatric, you agree to receive service,
transactional, and marketing communications from us
(including emails, WhatsApp/SMS messages, and in-app or site
notifications). We may send study tips, product updates, promotions,
and important service announcements. You can opt out of marketing
emails at any time via the “Unsubscribe” link in our emails; for
WhatsApp/SMS, reply “STOP”. Note that you will still receive
essential service messages (e.g. account, security, or legal
notices).
We process personal information in line with applicable laws,
including the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA)
in South Africa. We use reasonable safeguards and only share data
with trusted processors where necessary to provide the Service. To
access, correct, or delete your information, please contact us.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To
the maximum extent permitted by law, AceMatric is not liable for any
indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data,
opportunities, or profits.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect
when posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the
updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South
Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction
of the courts of South Africa.
